  • Tell that to my neighbor who's cat escaped the house and was torn up because it could not defend itself. I can not believe that a person who runs a rescue could call debarking "humane."

  • There is a big difference between allowing a dog to stay whole and breed indisciminately and mutilating the vocal chords to make him more convenient. Dogs live longer if they are spayed or neutered and they avoid some cancers and other health problems as well.

  • You go, Matt! They don't tell you about the blocked airways, the scar tissue, and those that need to be opened up again and fixed. Dr. Vanderlip is justifying the surgery, trying to smake it sound like it is an ethical practice.

  • Notice that the owners are at fault, and not the dogs. Notice that irresponsible people let their dogs breed indiscriminately. Notice they allow ther dogs to poop in your yard and bark to distraction.

  • Isn't it just peachy that your dogs are now "convenient." Too bad they had to be surgically altered from what they were so that they are more convenient for you.

  • For those of you who would debark a dog, shame on you. SHAME ON YOU! Would you mutilate you're child's vocal chords because the child would not stop crying? Of course not.
